I bought the first one in November 2001, used. It had 10,500 miles on it and was less than a year old. It was such a great car that I bought another one in 2004, to replace the Toyota Matrix, which I couldn't drive after a back injury (not enough leg room). The second one came to us with 3 years and 36,000 miles on it (an ex-BMW financial lease car). It recently left, a victim of its own quiet competence, to fund the purchase of the new Mini Cooper S.

Not a typo: Really did have two 525 Wagons
For a while, two years in fact, I really did have two nearly identical 2001 BMW 525iT wagons:

As the proud owner of a 3 Series wagon (manual / sport package) I say, bravo!
